Valspar® Paint Introduces the Valspar Color Project, ft. Lauren!

Valspar® Paint today introduces the Valspar Color Project, an online video series featuring three of today's hottest celebrities as they share how they connect to the power in color. The Valspar Color Project takes you behind-the-scenes as actress and mom-to-be Molly Sims designs her new nursery, fashion designer Lauren Conrad brings color into her office space and renowned cookbook author and television host Padma Lakshmi creates a bold and inviting kitchen. Each celebrity uses her favorite color of Valspar Paint to makeover their room and reveals in a short video why she loves her color and how it transformed the space. As the videos are shared through social media, they will also raise money for Habitat for Humanity, an international nonprofit affordable housing organization supported by Valspar and each of the celebrities.
Fashion designer and bestselling author Lauren Conrad joined the Valspar Color Project after spending several months surrounded by all white walls in her Paper Crown clothing line office in Los Angeles. She chose Valspar Brushed Rose, a dusty, romantic hue from her favorite color family, pink, to transform her office and bring cheer and inspiration to Paper Crown's creative work space. Conrad, whose color transformation story will premiere on www.facebook.com/ValsparPaint in June, hopes that everyone will watch and share her video so she can reach her personal goal of raising $100,000 for Habitat for Humanity.
"I have worked with Habitat for Humanity, and it's an organization that means a lot to me," said Conrad. "It's really an honor to be a part of such a great initiative and work with Valspar to help raise money to build homes in partnership with low-income families in need of affordable housing. Through Habitat, Valspar allows everyone to connect to the power in color."
The Valspar Color Project is part of an ongoing partnership between Valspar and Habitat for Humanity International. Valspar's support for Habitat began in the mid-1980s, when it first provided paint and services to Habitat for Humanity Twin Cities. Since launching their national partnership in 2002, Valspar Paint has donated more than $40 million in cash and paint to Habitat. Valspar and Habitat recently marked their long-standing partnership by celebrating the 1 millionth gallon of Valspar Paint donated to Habitat.
