It All Started With An Idea..
Hey everyone! We just wanted to take a post to let you all know about the story of how we started Lauren Conrad Daily and why we love what we do. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!
First things first. Although "we" often refer to LCdaily as "we" when talking about the site, however, "we" should really be "I". Confused? In other words, the site Lauren Conrad Daily is run by one person. That would be me, Colleen. I have owned/ran this site for almost two year now! It has been such a great experience and it is so much fun.
It is often hard to run this site, balance school work, and just live life but I have reached a wonderful balance and blog as much as I can. I hope that I get everything out to all of you Lauren fans as fast as I can. Have I been doing a good job?
One thing that I promise you will never find on my website is gossip. I hate gossip! I mean, would you want someone that is a 'fan' of you posting gossip on their blog? They are supposed to be supporting you, not spreading rumors. Am I right? That does not mean that I look down upon other fansites for Lauren (or in general) that post the latest gossip, it is just my own values and beliefs. I mean after all I wouldn't want someone posting rumors about me.
Back to how it all started..One day I discovered the amazing world of Twitter. I thought it was incredible! Getting to follow celebrity's every move and idea? It sounded amazing. I remember seeing all these fansites for actors and actresses and though it was really cool! I have been a fan of Lauren since Laguna, so I instantly began searching for LC fansites. I began searching and found a few, but some had not been updates for a while. So I decided, why not make one for Lauren? It was the best idea I have ever had.
After about a month of tweeting and blogging I had about 32 followers and I was so proud!! I remember thinking to myself, "Imagine if I had 100 followers?" The sound of 100 followers was the most exciting thing for me. It meant that I could connect with other Lauren Conrad fans that loved her as much as I did.
Once I started to reach abut 150 followers I noticed that there were a lot of other Lauren Conrad fansites forming. This made me really happy! I hope that people may have seen my site and it inspired them to do the same. I know that is how I started LCdaily. Now there are so many fansites for Lauren, it is so exciting! It makes me really happy to see all the support.
Right now Lauren Conrad Daily has a little over 11,000 followers. I cannot even believe this! I never thought my site would turn into something so big. It makes me so happy to see that there are so many people out there that like what I post and have love + support for Lauren. I know that Lauren appreciated all of your support and it means a lot to her!

Congratulations colleen! You have come such a long way from having 32 followers on twitter to over 11,000 and now you have Lauren Conrad herself following you! lcdaily is still my favorite Lauren Conrad fansite and it will always be your blog was the first more up to date Lauren Conrad fansites that I have followed on twitter :) I just wanted to say thank you for everything I know balancing school,your life and this blog must be hard but I think you are doing a great job :)

From time to time i read your blog to know of Lauren and always is update. Where i live Lauren is not very well-known and is nice to find a site as good as yours. Keep it up! You deserver it.
